DECK & STANDING AREA
A low standing area improves stability and control. Riders can now reach faster speeds and maintain speed over a longer time as they can focus on paddling with maximum power, instead of losing energy balancing.
The tail pad adds traction & control when buoy turning and wave riding.
Four efficient drainage holes flush water out quickly.
Multiple handle positions allows you to customise the handle placement for beach starts.
BOTTOM SHAPE
The vee shaped tail makes it easy to steer the board in surf and downwind.
Concave side plane provides stability and the boxy straight rails optimize the full outline of the board for greater stability and reduces rolling.
Wide chamfered rails reduces the planing surface by nearly 20%, increasing the glide and overall speed.
Smooth nose rocker for greater float and lift in flat water, allowing for faster acceleration. In downwind conditions, faster entry to bumps and reduces nose diving.
BOARD CONSTRUCTIONS
CARBON SANDWICH
Light and strong race board construction. Biaxial carbon is laminated over the standing area and full bottom. A stronger 150g Biaxial carbon wraps the nose and rail. Giving excellent strength ratio and efficient flex. High-density PVC is used in the standing area and full bottom maximizing strength.
WOOD CARBON
Australian Pine reinforcement is used on the full length of the standing area for extra impact strength. Unidirectional Carbon reinforced standing area provides durability and stiffness at the greatest impact zone. UD Carbon is also used to reinforce the rail, increasing the strength and faster recoil.
Fins
The Race Ultra is a longer fin, providing great stability and tracking in flat conditions.
The Natural Winner is a smaller fin, delivering more downwind maneuverability.
The Weed fin with an aggressive rake, effectively sheds weed and kelp.
